Home for the Holidays 2019

Posted by DSAF on December 11, 2019

Don’t miss the sixteenth annual “Home for the Holidays” community concert Monday, Dec. 23, 7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Theatre.

This is not just an amazing concert but done by professional musicians who grew up in Davis and came back to support our public school with proceeds from this concert via DSAF.

The concert, produced by Bill Fairfield, is a benefit for the Davis School Arts Foundation, which supports music and arts education in Davis public schools. The show is designed to showcase nationally recognized local musicians, many of whom attended Davis public schools, and allow some younger local performers the chance to share the stage. For more information, see Davis School Arts Foundation on Facebook, DSAF Website and/or www.billyfairfield.com.

This year’s lineup includes many musicians who have participated in “Home for the Holidays” in years past, as well as a few “newbies.” Familiar faces include the folk/Americana duo Misner & Smith, the Rita Hosking Duo, Little Charlie, Hattie Craven, Gospel singer Dorothy Morrison, Way Out West, Boot Juice and harpist Alaina Rose.

The master of ceremonies will be Joe Craven.
